Journey Management Plan

A safer way to move people and vehicles across remote field operations

Built for oil & gas and construction sites across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. No hardware to install, no app to download — a QR code on the vehicle and a phone your drivers already carry.

~40%

of oil & gas workers killed on the job die in highway crashes, not on the rig

8.5×

higher motor-vehicle fatality rate for oil & gas workers vs. all private-sector workers

35.9

road deaths per 100,000 people in Saudi Arabia — almost double the global average of 17.05

Where JMP fits

AVL, IVMS, and Journey Management answer three different questions

JMP doesn’t replace your vehicle tracking or driver-behavior monitoring — it’s the layer neither one was built to cover.

🛰️

AVL

Automatic Vehicle Location

Where is the vehicle right now? GPS position, on a map.

🚙

IVMS

In-Vehicle Monitoring

How is it being driven? Harsh braking, speed, engine data.

🧭

JMP

Journey Management Plan

Should this trip be happening? Plan, fitness-to-drive, welfare checks, field reports, SOS — the IOGP-defined Journey Management layer.

The direct answer

How GetJMP changes the outcome

We don’t stop the storm or the camel — we cut the time between something going wrong and help arriving.

😴

Fatigue

Mandatory fit-to-drive confirmation before every trip, plus license and training expiry tracking.

A driver goes quiet

Automatic overdue alert the second the clock runs out — not hours later.

📢

Sudden fog or sandstorm

Coordinator broadcasts a hold-position warning to every active driver instantly.

🚨

Accident or camel strike

One-tap SOS — GPS location and an alarm reach the dispatcher in seconds, not hours.

🔄

No signal in the field

Actions queue on the phone and sync the moment signal returns — nothing lost silently.

Skipped pre-trip prep

Equipment and off-road checklist confirmation is timestamped and visible to the coordinator.

The product

Two cabinets, one live picture of every trip

The driver

Starting a journey takes under a minute

  • Scan the vehicle’s QR code — no separate login, no office visit
  • Fitness-to-drive and equipment checklist confirmed before departure
  • A live countdown to the next check-in, visible the whole trip
  • One-tap SOS — help reaches the dispatcher in seconds

The coordinator

The Control Room — every journey, one live screen

  • Live map with colour-coded trip status, plus a searchable trip list
  • A site-wide SOS banner with audible alarm until acknowledged
  • Full trip detail: plan, timeline, field reports, last known location
  • Fleet, driver, and coordinator roster management in one place
Field reports

Every hazard, breakdown, and accident — documented in the moment

  • ⚠️ Hazard — sand drift, washout, obstruction — quick note, optional photo
  • 🔧 Vehicle issue — note required, so the coordinator knows what’s wrong
  • 🚑 Accident (MVA) — note required, location, other party, damage
  • Every report reaches the coordinator instantly — inline on the trip and in a live Reports Feed
  • KML export of the recorded track for a rescue team’s GPS device

Built for the region

Designed around real regional operating conditions

Saudi Arabia has already cut road fatalities 40% over the last decade — GetJMP is built to support that continued progress, with the everyday conditions field teams plan around.

600+

camel-vehicle collisions per year nationwide — fatality rate 6× higher than average, worst after dark

dense seasonal fog has caused large multi-vehicle pile-ups on regional highways

A required complement, not a replacement

What your AVL/IVMS still can’t do — and GetJMP does today

Fitness-to-drive check

A driver confirms rest, fuel, water, and spare tire before every trip — not after something goes wrong.

📷

Photo field reports

Hazards, vehicle issues, and accidents logged with a photo and GPS, in the moment.

🚨

Instant SOS

One tap alerts every dispatcher with an alarm until acknowledged — even on a trip already marked closed.

🧭

A real trip plan

Destination, route, convoy, expected return — the plan AVL/IVMS hardware was never designed to hold.

💬

Two-way contact

Coordinators broadcast to every driver instantly; replying back is available via an optional Telegram link, for anyone who already uses it.

🛡️

Compliance record

License and training expiry, off-road gates, equipment checklists — audit-ready.

The alternative is a clipboard

Why this beats a paper journey log

Someone notices a driver is late
Automatic overdue alert the moment the clock runs out
Illegible handwriting, lost logbook pages
Structured, searchable, exportable to CSV
No proof the pre-trip check happened
Timestamped fitness-to-drive and equipment confirmation
A hazard report is a verbal aside
A photo, a GPS point, and a permanent record
Being straight with you

What we don’t solve — and why GetJMP still matters

Like almost every non-satellite AVL/IVMS, we can’t stream live GPS with zero signal.

The fitness-to-drive and equipment check happen before departure — no signal needed at all. Offline actions queue on the phone and sync the moment any signal returns — nothing is silently lost. And an expected-return time still triggers an automatic overdue escalation, even with zero live tracking in between.

No hardware, no app store

A driver’s personal phone, respected

🔒

Nothing is “installed”

It’s a bookmark that looks like an app icon — no OS-level install, no app-store account, nothing an IT department enrolls.

📷

Only asks for what it needs

Camera access only while taking a hazard photo; location only during an active, driver-started trip.

🌐

Works everywhere they work

Arabic, English, Hindi, and Urdu — matches the workforce, not a translated afterthought.

A low-risk next step

Let’s start with a pilot

No commitment to your full fleet on day one.

getjmp@outlook.com

30–60 days

A small group of drivers and vehicles — your choice of route or site.

🛡️

Parallel safety

Your existing radio / sat-phone channel stays fully active throughout.

📊

We measure

Real alert delivery, notification setup, and whether coordinators actually use the Reports feed.

🧭

Then we talk fleet-wide

Full-fleet pricing discussed once the pilot proves value — not before.
